The First Church
The first church was established in the New Testament and was founded on the Day of Pentecost. This is plainly recorded in the second chapter of the Book of Acts. All of the original churches such as Ephesus, Corinth, etc., were established on the same Pentecostal experience (Acts 2:38-39, Galatians 1:8, Acts 19:1-5). Therefore, we are called Pentecostal, because we have the same experience they had on the day of Pentecost. We are called Apostolic, because we teach the same doctrine that the Apostles taught (Acts 2:42).

Why...WE SING WITH ALL OUR HEARTS...
Because… In the Bible we read “Make a joyful noise unto the Lord… and sing praise.” (Psalms 98:4)
Why...WE LIFT OUR HANDS AND PRAISE GOD ALOUD…
Because… In the Bible we read “Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord,” (Psalms 134:2). “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise.” (Psalms 100:4). “And I heard… the voice of a great multitude… saying Alleluia…” (Revelation 19:6).
Why...WE ALL PRAY TOGETHER…
Because… In the Bible we read “They lifted up their voice to God with one accord,” (Acts 4:24). “I will therefore that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands without wrath and doubting.” (1 Timothy 2:8).
Why...WE CLAP OUR HANDS...
Because… In the Bible we read “O, clap your hands all ye people, shout unto the Lord with the voice of triumph.” (Psalms 47:1).
Why...WE TESTIFY PUBLICLY...
Because… In the Bible we read “Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of Man confess before the Angels of God,” (Luke 12:8).
Why...WE ANOINT WITH OIL FOR DIVINE HEALING...
Because… In the Bible we read “Is there any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.” (James 5:14).
Why...WE BAPTIZE IN THE NAME OF JESUS…
Because… In the Bible we read “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” (Acts 2:38, Acts 8:16, Acts 10:48, Acts 19:5, etc. This fulfills Matthew 28:19).
Why...WE BELIEVE IN RECEIVING THE HOLY GHOST...
Because… In the Bible we read “For this promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.” The evidence of this experience is speaking in heavenly or other tongues (Acts 2:4, 2:39, 10:46, 19:6).
