Beware, Take Heed...

Luke 21:34 (KJV)

[34] ¶ And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

Surfeiting: Over Eating

Drunkenness: Not Necessarily Alcohol but rather Intoxication with Pleasure Seeking.

The “Cares of this life” 

Accordingly the Strongs Dictionary: 

“to draw in different directions, distract,” 

The Coming of The Lord and Destruction of This World are Coming: “Take Heed” 

That nothing Over Charges your heart (the center of all you hope for) and That Day catch you unawares.

The Danger of Entanglement

2 Peter 2:20 (KJV)

[20] For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

An Old Proverb: 

Fool me once “Shame on You”

Fool me twice “Shame on Me”

Entanglement is not always outwardly forced but it could actually be The Result of your own desire.

An odd observation of psychology is one that is called the “Stockholm Syndrome” where the captives become emotionally entangled with their captors....

Distraction

2 Timothy 2:4 (KJV)

[4] No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

Distractions are from the devil!

Our first and foremost Duty is to be a soldier of the King!

         “Everything Else”

 is secondary, and

         “Everything Else” 

 is Potentially a Distraction 

from what Our Commander and Chief has Called us to do.

Be a Christian today and do not Entangle Yourself with what is going on in the world!

You Choose… Giver or Receiver

Luke 19:8-9 (KJV)

[8] And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold.

Zacchaeus discovered that True Riches weren’t in what he kept, but rather in what he  gave…

The Transgressor

Proverbs 13:15 (KJV)

[15] Good understanding giveth favour: 

“but the way of transgressors is hard.”

Transgressor actually means “violating the law”

To go against God‘s laws is a miserable pathway...

What would make a person want misery instead of blessing?

It must be the moment of euphoria paid by a day of misery. What a miserable addiction!

The Word Token Means “Sign”

Because Of “Hope” In You, Your Will, Enemies Will Be Ashamed!

God Has Shown That The “Holy Ghost” Is The Earnest of Your Inheritance, The Down Payment or “Token”

We Have A True Token. Even As Rahab in The Scarlet Thread.
