The Majors and the Minors

1 Corinthians 14:20

[20] Brethren, (be not children in understanding): howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men.

• Malice-Be as Children

• Understanding-Be as Men

Children are: Undeveloped and Immature

Men are: Fully Developed and Mature Adults

When it Comes to (Malice) We Should Be as “Children”

Under developed and Innocent…

Malice is Evil and in These Territories We Should be as

Children, not Knowing and not Experienced…

And Yet in (Understanding) We Should Be well Exercised and Mature!

Why Is It That Some People Appear to “Major” on (Malice) and “Minor” on (Understanding) and or good?

Haggai 2:12

If one bear holy flesh in the skirt of his garment, and with his skirt (do touch) bread, or pottage, or wine, or oil, or any meat, (shall it be holy)?

And the priests answered and said, No.

INFLUANCE-

the capacity to have an effect on the character, development, or behavior of someone or something, or the effect itself:

Apparently the Power of (Holy) or Good Does Not Have the

(Influence) or Power to be Effectual by Nearness or Touch…

Whereas We Clearly Read in Scripture That (Negative) and (Bad or Evil) “INFLUENCES”

Everything it is Near and Touches-

Immediately Contaminates Whatever it Touches…

This being the Case-

Being Evil and or Even (Negative)

-Affects

-Infects

Everyone Near You…

Whereas (Good and Righteousness) is a Choice!

Not Changing Those Near-

“Only Setting an Example of What to Do”

and Most Importantly “Eliminating”

The Powerful Contamination of Evil

Near Our Loved Ones and Church!

Your Home or Church:

*Negative Judgmental and Critical Words

*Have a Greater Impact than Positive!

The (Influence) of Wrong is Far More Damaging-

Than the Example of Good Changing Those Near You…

Touch Evil and You’re Separated from God

Holiness and Godliness Must Be Digested to be Accepted by God…

Beware of “INFLUENCES”

They Could be Separating You from God…

And Damming Your Family and All Those Near You!

Influence to be a Better *Example

than *Contaminate your Family by Your Negative and Evil…

Resiliency

2 Corinthians 4:8

We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

Resiliency:   the ability of a substance or object to spring back into shape;

Elasticity:   the capacity to withstand or to recover quickly from difficulties

There was a Day when We were Breakable and Fragile

Sin does that to us…

Self-Destruction and Suicide Never Happens to Holy Ghost Filled People…

The Power of the Holy Ghost (Empowers) Us to Withstand all Attacks Without Breaking!

When  Bent Out of Shape, Pushed down, Beaten and Worried-

A Resilient Man Will Rise Again and in the End

Return to His Natural Shape!

Because the Holy Ghost-

• Never Leaves

• Never Abandons

And It Is Through (Him) That We are Strengthened!

Not of Ourselves, But Through Christ!

Can One man Make a Difference? #2

Luke 13:8-9

And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:

And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.

What a Beautiful Thing, When Men (Mirror) the Characteristics of God!

Truly We are Made in (His Image)…

The Chief Shepherd is looking for “Productivity” and “Progress”

And Yet Many Times We Have Come Up Short!

Thank God There was a (Man)

Who Pleaded with the Lord to give him

“One More Year”

Yes, One Man in Your Life Could Make a Difference…

An Under Shepherd Who Pleads With the Chief Shepherd

“Give Me a Little More Time”

with this lamb, and maybe by next year they will be able to walk on their own…

Can One Man Make a Difference?

John 11:49-50

And one of them, named Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all,

Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that (one man should die) for the people, and that the whole nation perish not.

This passage of course was speaking of Jesus…

Abraham stood between judgement and Lot’s family

Mose stood between annihilation and a Nation

Jesus stood between Eternal Hell and a World

You Decide!

And even though these were responsible for Stopping

Inevitable Destruction, it Came With a (Condition)

Nothing is Unconditional!

Not Even Salvation…

The Condition?

You Must (Act)

You Must Make a Move

You Must Make a Decision

(Lot’s) Family Had to Leave the City

(Israel) Had to Obey the 10 Commandments

(The World) Must Obey Christ’s Commands

One Can Make a Difference

But Only You Can Make the “Change”

Destiny Changed

Isaiah 38:1

[1] In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came unto him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order: for thou shalt die, and not live.

One would think that once the Lord has Spoken

It has now become a forgone conclusion…

“You Will Die”

Quite Ominous

Quite Final

When coming from the mouth of God!

Too Often We Allow Ourselves to Fall Victim

To the Judgements Handed to Us in Life…

And Yet There are a Few Who are Willing to Challenge

Their Finality…

Hezekiah went to the Lord in Humility and Prayer

And God Added 15 years to His Life!

Whether God or Man, if the Outcome is Dire and Dismal

Make Appeal and Request a Change in Your Destiny!

Don’t Just “Rollover” and Accept the chain binding dark judgements from men!

“Stand back up and Change Your Destiny…

Challenge Your Todays and Change Your Tomorrows…

The Plight of Cain

Genesis 4:7

[7] If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

Cain was not a (Victim)

Cain was not the Result of an Unfair Pecking Order

Cain was not Caught Off Guard

Cain was not an Under Dog

Cain’s Demise Came About Because of (Choices)

*His (Choices) though Bad Ones

The Judgements of God were not Cruel and Unkind

But Rather the Consequences of His Own (Choices)

No One is (Charmed) with Unbelievable Blessings and Outcomes…

But (Every Man) Will Be Given Both Good and Bad Things in Life-(Everyone)…

Out of these various offerings of Good and Bad

You Must Choose-

The Life You Have and the Life You Will Have-

Will Be a (Result) of Those (Choices)…

The story of Cain and Able is not a story of Good and Evil

But Rather One of (Choices)…

You and I are not (Predestined) to a Life of Good or Evil

But Rather, We are Predestined to a Life

That is a Result of “Our Choices”
