[34] ¶ And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

UNAWARES - Without being aware or prepared for a situation.

Be Warned! This “Unawares” Is more than being embarrassed and being caught unprepared for something others depended on you for.

This “UNAWARES” will cost you Your Eternity!

“That Day” Is The Coming of Jesus Christ!

[14] Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

Problem verses Remedy Can be difficult at best and sometimes overwhelming!

The Answer Is Not Always Reacting But Rather “Wait”

[13] Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

The Past is like a lot like a gun. When used properly it preserves and protects! When misused it can cause pain and even death!

Use your Past to propel you forward of lessons hard learned and adding caution because of the pain of Past mistakes!

But Never Let Your Past Murder Your Future!
