Contentment

1 Timothy 6:6-8 (KJV)

[6] But godliness with contentment is great gain. [7] For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. [8] And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

A most rare and endangered species: “Contentment”

No one seems to have it and yet if you can obtain some you will be rich! 

Godliness with Contentment-Wow! 

The secret of peaceful Christians in the middle of a fierce battle-“Contentment”

A Place of Peace

John 16:33 (KJV)

[33] These things I have spoken unto you, that... “in me ye might have peace.” In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

In a world of mass confusion there is A Place of Peace! 

And it is just a prayer away!

He did not say he would eliminate tribulation but hidden within the folds of Trial and Trouble there is A Place of Peace!

 Our Peace Is In Him!

[35] Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? 

behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.

Procrastination: the act of delaying or postponing something. 

Do Not Procrastinate What God is Calling “Harvest Time”

• If not Us then Who?

• If not Here then Where?

• If not Now then When?

  The Voice of the Lord is Calling.

[9] ¶ And as Jesus passed forth from thence, he saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he saith unto him, Follow me. And he arose, and followed him.

[14] And as he passed by, he saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the receipt of custom, and said unto him, Follow me. And he arose and followed him.

Instead of all these declarations and plans to win the lost! Why don’t we try today, the way Jesus did it? Today at the store, or at the gas station, just walk up to somebody and give it a try!

Hey! It worked for Him, it might work for You.

[21] And it shall come to pass, that..... “whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord” shall be saved.

“whosoever”  Could Be You Today? My Challenge for You Today... Try It and Call On The name of The Lord! 

Do It, Get somewhere alone today and start crying out unto the Lord! And see what will happen...

The Sanctuary of God

Psalms 73:17 (KJV)

[17] Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end.

Somethings cannot ever be understood in this world by Men’s wit and wisdom.

Her books and halls of wisdom, all but fall short of the things a man really needs to satiate and satisfy his heart. 

Yet when he walks into the house or sanctuary of God! It is here in this enantiodromic surrounding, spiritually charged that  the questions and struggles of life and peace are found!

It is in the sacred place we called The Church that miracles Happen!

Somethings cannot be accomplished at home!

Is God Able?

Jude 24 (KJV)

[24] Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,

When it is all said and done humanity is frail at best!

When we’ve done all we can to stand, in a world that is bowing to every current crisis, God intervenes and realizes our frailty!  And he will keep us from falling!

Saint of God, God will give you strength and “He is Able” to keep us!
