Security or Insecurity?

Proverbs 28:1 (KJV)

[1] The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.

Security Is Reserved For The Righteous!

When You Do Right There's No Question or Fear!

Insecurity Is More Often Born

Because You're Doing Questionable Things...

The Age Old Adage For the Righteous Is -

When In Doubt, Don't!

But Insecure People Are Always Testing The Waters, Fudging The Lines... Hoping It'll All Work Out- But It Doesn't!

The Wicked Flee When No One Is Pursuing- *Insecure...

Secure Confidence Is Birthed from Doing What's Right.

And Will Make You Bold As A Lion!

Lion or Mouse- You Choose!

In Pursuit of Enough Money!

[9] But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.

In Life One Needs To Determine-

. What Is Adequate

. What Is Needful

. What Is Excessive

The Lines Are Often Blurred by

Justification...

And Philanthropic Intentions...

But Regardless of Intent It Doesn't Change-

(Desire and Longing)

To Be Rich...

Whether for Good or Bad!

The Consequences of Just

Desiring and Longing

For Wealth- Has Me Trembling!

Regardless of My Intentions...

The Question As I See It Is-

Are We Content With What God Provides?

He Takes Care of The Lily and Sparrow-

Do I Trust Him To Take Care of Me?

Questionable Actions

Exodus 2:12 (KJV)

[12] And he looked this way and that way, and when he saw that there was no man, he slew the Egyptian, and hid him in the sand.

Though Mose Fled From Egypt

Because of Pharaoh-

We Don't Ever See That He Regretted His Decision!

Sometimes "Doing The Right Thing" Causes Consequences That Are Unfavorable at Best

And Sometimes Dangerous!

Sometimes You'll Lose Face and Favor and Even Friends...

But Ask Yourself This:

Did I Do The Right Thing?

If The Answer Is Yes!!!

Then Take Solace and Comfort

In Knowing That-

"You Did The Right Thing"

Regardless of The Consequences....

Now Go Do The Right Thing!

A legend from India tells about a mouse who was terrified of cats until a magician agreed to transform him into a cat. That resolved his fear ... until he met a dog, so the magician changed him into a dog. The mouse-turned-cat-turned-dog was content until he met a tiger-so, once again, the magician changed him into what he feared. But when the tiger came complaining that he had met a hunter, the magician refused to help. "I will make you into a mouse again, for though you have the body of a tiger, you still have the heart of a mouse."

[1] In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.

It isn't hope that leads [Mary and Mary Magdalene] up the mountain to the tomb.

It is Devotion-Naked devotion!

They expected nothing in return...

Devotion Will Carry You Beyond The Limits...

Devoted People Are Not Motivated by The Moment Nor The Reward!

Loaves and Fish People Are Motivated...

As with food it is Temporary!

Devoted People Are Permanent Regardless of The Outcome...

Jesus Was Devoted

Judas Was Motivated...

Don't Lose Hope - Your Anchor

Hebrews 6:18-19 (KJV)

[18] That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to (lay hold upon the hope) set before us:

[19] (Which hope) we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;

. A symbol points beyond itself to something significant.

. The flag of the United States symbolizes the fifty current states with stars and the thirteen original states with bars.

. The symbol of the Christian faith is the cross, which points unerringly to the central doctrine of Christianity-The Anchor.

Hope Is An Anchor!

Without Hope There Is No Anchor...

Without an Anchor You Will Drift Wherever The Current Takes You!

An Anchor (Hope) Keeps You At The Desired Destination!

Too Many Lose Hope and Thus Drift Aimlessly...

Don't Let The Devil Steal Your Hope!
