Helping God

James 5:19-20 (KJV)

19 Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;

20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

When somebody (errs) or strays away from the Truth

And you…

⁃ Rather than

         mistreat

⁃ Rather than

         sympathize

But… Rather help them (from their error)

And reconvert

them-(the Bible calls them sinners)

To the Right Way!

You become helpful in…

⁃ Saving their

         soul

⁃ Covering a

          multitude of sin

Helping God!

Key of wisdom-

*Be a part of the solution

Not the problem…

Does Anyone Care How God Feels?

John 11:35 (KJV)

Jesus wept.

Honestly, sometimes we become so (self absorbed) that we forget this one question:

*Does Anyone Care How God Feels?

While we are pursuant and fevered in our anxious attempt to let everybody know how we feel, could we take a moment today and ask ourselves this question-

*How Does God Feel?

When we are at our lowest, and when we feel like nobody listens or understands we tend to take it out on God!

• Not Go To Church (His house)

• Not Sing Songs to Him (if we do go)

• Not Worship Him (again, in His House)

• Not Pray to Him

• Not Listen to The Message (a Word from Him)

The one who has done nothing damaging to us seems to receive the brunt end of our frustrations!

*Does Anyone Care How God Feels?

Protect Your Heart

Proverbs 15:13 (KJV)

A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.

• Destruction and Attack To Your Body…

• Danger and Harm to Your Person…

Can Be Hurtful and Painful

But None of Which Can Break Your Spirit!

*Only damage to your heart affects your spirit!

Protect Your Heart from Invaders and Trespassers!

DO NOT OPEN YOUR HEART TO JUST ANYTHING!

Only to God and Godliness…

A Broken Heart Means a Broken Spirit-

*This Will Destroy You and Your Walk With God!

Protect Your Heart Today.

Let it be a place that God dwells!

Who Is My Neighbor?

Proverbs 14:21 (KJV)

He that despiseth his neighbour sinneth:

but he that hath mercy on the poor, happy is he.

Intolerance to those who don’t measure up to your standards can actually be a sin…

The reason for despising is not what’s being considered…

Nor-

The reason for your neighbor’s poverty…

Mercy (means guilty but forgiven)

No reason given either!

The question here is this-

• Sinning

       Or

• Happiness

Who Is Your Neighbor?

Selah

Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV)

[11] For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Selah means “to pause”

I want you “to pause” today in the midst of the Battle and remember

That the Lord is Thinking,

Thoughts of Peace toward you...

Mercy

Matthew 5:7 (KJV)

[7] Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

Mercy Is Letting Someone Off

Who Is Guilty...

You Be The Judge Today Of Someone Guilty and Show Mercy

A Warning To This Generation

Hebrews 2:1 (KJV)

[1] Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.

The Phrase “let them slip” Is A Nautical Term, Meaning A Mooring of A Boat Tied To The Dock...

Pay Attention, So Your Boat Doesn’t Get Loose And Drift Away From Where It Is Tied.

Pay Close Attention and Hold On To The Truth!
