Psalms 142:4-5 (KJV)

4I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul.

5I cried unto thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living.

Alone in a cave has brought David to a Special Revelation.

ALONE- Completely Alone…

God has allowed David to Realize that all before were mere crutches…

Crutches that only temporarily propped him up!

Cave Prayers are the realization that what we really needed all along-

Was not somebody but

God!

He’s waiting on you in a cave near you…

In This Cave…

Then The Lord, He Alone Knows My Path and Direction!

Self-Help is Disastrous

God Help is Glorious!

So Then It No Longer Matters What the Enemy Has in Store!

Because God Knows…

Many Seek Therapists and a Willing Ear

When Life Has Placed Them in Caves of Despair…

But David Found That Dark Times Like These Were Better Spent Talking To Someone Who Could Make a Difference!

“The Lord!”

• Others May Sympathize and Console

• Others May Even Agree

• Others May Share

• Others May Identify

But Only The Lord Can Truly Bring You Out of The Cave!

Only the Lord Can Comfort and Heal the Brokenness…

Only God Hears the “Cry” in Your Prayer!

What’s Wrong With Living Right?

Psalms 112:4 (KJV)

4 Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.

UPRIGHT: up/right = UPRIGHT

UPRIGHT: Higher and the antithesis of Wrong…

When you live UPRIGHT God Brings illumination to an otherwise dark room!

This Light goes beyond the ability to now “see” what was otherwise hidden in darkness…

But to Whom God has brought Light-

They are:

-Gracious

-Full of Compassion

-Righteous

Stockholm Syndrome

John 8:31-32 (KJV)

31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;

32 And ye shall know the truth, and *(the truth shall make you free.)

33 They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?

Stockholm syndrome is a proposed condition or theory that tries to explain why hostages sometimes develop a psychological bond with their captors.

Why would anyone not want to be free?

Could it be the requirement for freedom?

Leaving your captors-

Abandoning familiarity -

Fear of the unknown-

But remember, you will still be a captive to a system and to a devil-

The cost will be sorrow on earth and eternity in damnation!

Don’t let the devil lie to you!

And convince you that captivity is convenient-

Freedom is just a step away!

Donkey Power

Judges 15:19 (KJV)

19 But God clave an hollow place that was in the jaw, and there came water thereout; and when he had drunk, his spirit came again, and he revived: wherefore he called the name thereof Enhakkore, which is in Lehi unto this day.

The Burden Bearer is Victorious in Death and A Giver of Life…

The donkey, even after death becomes a tool in the hand of victory!

Destroying the enemies of God!

And when the battles over, it also becomes a source of water to bring life to a dying man!

This simple animal in life was surrounded by much more prodigious animals, such as lions, Bears, Eagles, etc.

God chooses not the ability in the ferociousness of our visage…

But rather the availability and willingness to do!

And the very fact, he uses the very simple is so that man cannot claim any credit!

God loves it when we feel like, we can’t do this, I can’t bear this, I’m unable!

This provides the perfect scenario for the glory of God to work a miracle!

Your desperation today could very well be the setting scene for God to work wondrously!
