God Uses Preachers as His Hands and People are Always Trying to Un-Qualify Them….

Gods’ Leading is by a Man’s Hand…

That’s Why (HE) Chose Ministry- Pastor, Preachers and Prophets-

To Be His Hands…

Don’t Say God is Leading All the While Resisting the Hand-

Really Its Counterproductive…

Don’t Say- “I wish God would speak and lead me”

When all the while He’s been trying to/

But you’re not listening or allowing “The Guiding Hand” in your life…

No Walls No Protection

28 He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.

28 A person without self-control

is like a city with broken-down walls.

Self-control is Like Walls of Protection-

⁃ Some don’t have them

⁃ Some don’t want them

⁃ Some Won’t build them

Self Control Should Not Be an Option-

⁃ If you want to survive

⁃ If you don’t want to be defeated

The Greatest Self-Protection…

Is not Walling People Out of Your Life!

Neither is it Being Aggressively Offensive…

But “Self Control” is

The Single Greatest Defense…

Learn to Control Yourself-

And most of the battle is won…

You Can’t Change a Lazy Person!

It’s been proven by churches, charities and governments-

Money, Education and  Free Handouts will not change a (Lazy Person)-

Know the Difference Between a Lazy Person and a Person who has fallen on bad times…

Lazy People won’t live for God either…

Like their counterparts they always have an Excuse-

Your Excuse?

Really doesn’t matter because like our text-

7 Men (with reason)

Would Not Change You…

Because Lazy People Will Always Have an Excuse!

10 Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.

If You Love the Lord it will always accompany Hating Evil!

Fact: People who say they love the Lord and Excuse Evil

Do Not Really Love the Lord…

Not Excusing Evil from Our Enemies is Easy-

-To the Contrary those that we love and friends, it becomes a daunting feat…

But Loving God is Paramount and Does Not Differentiate Friend from Foe!

In a World of Compromise and Negotiation-

Yet There is None With God-

Love God- Hate Evil…

Period…

A Word of Encouragement

Worry weighs a person down; an encouraging word cheers a person up. Pr 12:25

It’s easier to Criticize than to Compliment…

Wrong is all around us whereas Good is like gold you have to look for it…

Encouragement is powerful when surrounded…

Like salt a bit makes the bland brighter.

22 Flee also youthful lusts: but (follow) righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

It Matters Not Who Follows You…

But Who Are You Following?

Obsession with Followers and Friends is a Trap of Destruction…

Looking Behind You to See Who’s Following You Is Not an Estimate of Strength…

But rather-

Look Ahead, not at yourself but Ahead, and See Who You’re Following…

• Righteousness

• Faith

• Charity

• Peace

with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

Now That is a Winning Team…

Paul was saying I haven’t quite got there yet…

In other words, until I do-

There Is One Thing I Do…

Forgetting The Past and Reaching for The Future!

Don’t Let The Past Make a Prisoner Out of You!

You Need To Let Go of The Past-Today!

Until You Let Go You Can Never Move Forward…

• The Past Is A Ball and Chain

• The Future Is A Jet-stream!

Paul Said “Forgetting”

That Means To No Longer Think About It!

But He Didn’t Say “Erase”

There is a Difference!
