Two Unlikely Bedfellows “Good and Pleasurable”

Psalms 133:1 (KJV)

1(A Song of degrees of David.) Behold, how (good) and how (pleasant) it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

Good and Pleasurable

Are often not found together…

When things are Good, often they are Good for us, thus not really Pleasurable!

*Paul said when I would do Good evil is always present…

When things are Pleasurable-

Too often they’re not Good for us…

“Unity” However Produces a Miracle-

Things Not Only Good but-Pleasurable…

When we seek not our own (Good and Pleasure)

But rather that of Others-

It Produces “Unity”

⁃ Unity in the Church

⁃ Unity in the Family

Thus Producing an Immeasurable Unbeatable Incomparable Power and Anointing…

⁃ Selfishness Destroys

⁃ Selflessness Builds

Rather thank search for Blessings high and low and under every rock-

Know that they are Home Delivered to a Precious Few…

⁃ Trusting in the Lord

⁃ Whose Hope is the Lord

Trust God No Matter What!

And-

What You Hope For is the Lord…

⁃ Not Money

⁃ Not Doctors

⁃ Revenge

⁃ Not a Long Life

Whatever It Is That Has You Stressed and Worried

Blessings Follow Those -That Trust in the Lord…

-Whose Hope is the Lord…

⁃ No greater treasure

⁃ No greater riches

⁃ No greater hope

“Christ In You”

⁃ Not with you

⁃ Not by you

⁃ Not in repose

But Absolutely (In You)…

Do Not Be Content-

To just walk with people who walk with God…

*Be the One that Actually Walks with God!

Most People Will Never Have an Apostle Paul Experience…

A Personal Visitation from God.

And even then immediately upon his (Saul/Paul) Willingness, God sent Saul/Paul to a Preacher-

God Uses Preachers as His Hands and People are Always Trying to Un-Qualify Them….

Gods’ Leading is by a Man’s Hand…

That’s Why (HE) Chose Ministry- Pastor, Preachers and Prophets-

To Be His Hands…

Don’t Say God is Leading All the While Resisting the Hand-

Really Its Counterproductive…

Don’t Say- “I wish God would speak and lead me”

When all the while He’s been trying to/

But you’re not listening or allowing “The Guiding Hand” in your life…

28 He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.

is like a city with broken-down walls.

Self-control is Like Walls of Protection-

⁃ Some don’t have them

⁃ Some don’t want them

⁃ Some Won’t build them

Self Control Should Not Be an Option-

⁃ If you want to survive

⁃ If you don’t want to be defeated

The Greatest Self-Protection…

Is not Walling People Out of Your Life!

Neither is it Being Aggressively Offensive…

But “Self Control” is

The Single Greatest Defense…

You Can’t Change a Lazy Person!

Money, Education and  Free Handouts will not change a (Lazy Person)-

Know the Difference Between a Lazy Person and a Person who has fallen on bad times…

Lazy People won’t live for God either…
