Antidote of Prevention

(Jos 23:11)

11 (Take good heed) therefore unto yourselves, that ye love the LORD your God.

This passage is in the middle of Moses’s command by God…

Power and Assurance of Victory

After-this passage:

Curses from serving their gods…

It Appears to be all Hinged on this one Passage-

*(Love the Lord your God)

More…than just mere obedience, He (God) knew that Love for Him goes deeper and further…

When the Command and Desire to Obey wears off, *Love takes you further!

⁃ When you Love, it will carry you beyond your limits-

⁃ When you Love, you don’t think of consequences-

⁃ When you Love, you don’t need to be told-

⁃ When you Love, there’s no expiration date-

⁃ When you Love, there’s no fear-

All of Israel’s failings were always because of failure to Love Him more than the letter…

When Jesus came their biggest obstacle was they valued the letter more than the Message-

They didn’t Love God, they only Obeyed God…

The Antidote for Remaining right with God and Not Falling for sin is-

That ye love the LORD your God.

Missed Opportunity

(Lk 9:52-53)

52 And sent messengers before his face: and they went, and entered into a village of the Samaritans, to make ready for him.

53 And (they did not receive him,) because his face was as though he would go to Jerusalem.

Because of Pride some would cut their nose off to spite their face…

Allowing predjudice and offence to cause you to miss out on Jesus coming to your place...

Is a Tragedy of Unprecedented Proportions!

⁃ The need to be the only one…

⁃ The need to be the first in line…

⁃ The need to be first thought not the second…

⁃ The need to be Before and not After…

This Kind of Pride Will Cost You Dearly!

The day that Noah entered the Ark was the 1st onboard more important than the 8th?

When the Rapture Finally Arrives- being the 11th hour hired worker is just as important as the 1st.

Champion or Straggler

Just as long as I make it to Heaven!

Do not let Pride and Prejudice-

Prevent You from Jesus Coming to Your City!

Whether He’s Set His Face Towards Another, as Long as He at Leasts Stops by My House-

Whether First Intended or Not?

Permission Can Be a Slippery Slope

Numbers 22:20-22 (KJV)

20And God came unto Balaam at night, and said unto him, If the men come to call thee, rise up, and go with them; but yet the word which I shall say unto thee, that shalt thou do.

21And Balaam rose up in the morning, and saddled his ass, and went with the princes of Moab.

22 And God's anger was kindled because he went: and the angel of the LORD stood in the way for an adversary against him. Now he was riding upon his ass, and his two servants were with him.

God told Balaam (if) the men come to call thee…

Remember- he (Balaam) had already turned them down-

Now God said (if) the men come back to call…

He would then give Balaam *permission to go!

(permission is different than the will of God)

Permission is often capitulation to someone’s Desires!

*There is a great difference…

But notice that Balaam did not *wait

Until they came-

Rather he saddle his animal first thing that morning and went-(the Hebrew words indicate that Balaam had desire now for the riches offered).

Thus the anger of the Lord!

God often finally *Permits or gives Permission

But the results could be devastating!

Example-(you might could marry someone that’s not the will of God, yet the consequences may not arise for years)…

Permission alone can be devastating…

Balaam’s judgement came later- it’s recorded that during battle the children of Israel slew him…

Permission could be a slippery slope!

Psalms 62:1 (KJV)

Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.

Waiting…

⁃ Man’s hardest lesson

⁃ Man’s tallest mountain

⁃ Man’s greatest obstacle

Ask and Given the Choice

We can face sword and peril of life?

Lions and Bears-

But… Waiting?

The inability to not Wait has lost entire Armies the Battle…

The provision of Idle Playgrounds that have brought down Kings-without a sword being drawn!

Lost Marriages that would never be!

Ministries that would never become!

Waiting- is not natural

It is a God Thing-

It is a Virtue!

If you’re waiting on “Waiting”

It’ll never just arrive-

As with Wisdom and Understanding-

You have to Request it from God…

Salvation as well as Deliverance, comes to those that Wait on God!

His Purpose

Philippians 2:13 (KJV)

13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

Never think that your life is without Purpose…

The Aim of the devil is to minimize and even trivialize our lives as Non-Important or without Purpose….

This causes angst and defeat! As a life without Meaning and Purpose!

Don’t let the devil rob you of your Purpose-

It is His good Pleasure that He(God)- Is working in you!

Both to Will and Do “His Good Pleasure”

Never forget-

You Have Purpose…

Just relax and let the Master work (in you)

Is Open for Business 24/7

365 Days a Year…

Pornography Has Become “Epidemic”

Greater Attended is the “House of Porn”

Than the House of God!

Her Congregation is More Faithful and Give More Money- Than All The Churches Combined…

Her House Has a Waiting Line of Addicts Pushing to Gain Entrance…

But… The Dead Are There-

Piling Up in a Place of Death and Destruction!

There’s Always Room for More-

For her guests are in the depths of Hell!

And according to scripture, (Hell) hath enlarged herself at *your coming…

Pornography must be addressed and identified

More as We See That Day Approach (the coming of the Lord).

Stay Away From That House!!!
