Untenable Offenses

(Pr 18:19)

19A brother offended is harder to be won than a strong city: and their contentions are like the bars of a castle.

Another Translation-

(Pr 18:19)

[19] An offended friend is harder to win back than a fortified city.

Arguments separate friends like a gate locked with bars.

The scripture is not sanctioning Offenses nor the results of someone that is Offended…

But rather the Results of Offenses as Facts, Untenable as they may be!

The Correction is so Great as to be Compared to conquering a strong city… Wow!

The Wisdom here given by God, is that the

(Offender and the Offended )

Both are in an Untenable and Disastrous Stalemate-

Stalemate Between Themselves-

And Both on The Outs With God According to Scriptural Teaching and Doctrines…

Wisdom-

Don’t be the Offender to the Offended

A Vaccine That Works Against Offenses

(Ps 119:165)

( GREAT PEACE) have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.

*AMP

165 (Great peace) have they who love Your law; nothing shall offend them or make them stumble.

Loving His Law Brings

-GREAT PEACE…

Which in Turn Results in a 2 Fold Benefit-

1. Nothing Shall Offend You

2. Nothing Shall Make You Fall

The Scripture is Always Right and We as Often as Not Are Mistaken and Wrong!

When Your “Love”

For His Law Outweighs All Else Then Nothing Can Offend You!

When We Get Offended It is Usually Because it Becomes Personal…

But True Love for God Knows That We Are Not Our Own, We Are His!

-When You Attack Me I do Not Respond Because I am-“His”

And God Will Take Care of His Own Business Without My Intervention!

Wisdom- Do Nothing and Let God Handle It…

When we do- it always ends up a mess!

The Habitation of His Throne

(Ps 89:14)

14Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.

The Mistaken Idea God’s throne is only Mercy and Love (which these are there) is to abscam and defraud the Environment that Seats His Throne…

His Throne is Seated in the Realm of-

“Justice and Judgment”

You Cannot Separate the Cloudy Environment that His Throne is Seated in…

Justice and Judgment

Surround His Throne!

His Justice is Fair…

His Judgment is Final…

God is not Unjust and God cannot Lie-

Regardless of Your View Point and Opinion and or Emotion-

God is Unwavering When it Comes to His Justice and Judgment toward Us!

That is why it demanded a mediator and sacrifice to present to God both Mercy and Truth…for the Consequences of our Sins…

Otherwise we’re toast!

Never treat Mercy and Truth lightly, without them-

There is No Hope for you…

Worthy of that world

(Lk 20:35)

35 But they which shall be accounted (worthy to obtain that world), and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:

The introduction of Another World by Jesus is breaking all former doctrines-

From an Abrahamic destination to that of a World they knew not of…

One that required unequivocally a Resurrection which had been in question.

The Requirement indicated was that you had to be “Worthy”

Your independent Worth had to enough to qualify your entrance-

Are You Worthy?

To become Worthy it necessitated that Your Worth must be Qualified!

Thus the need to be Born Again…

And Maintain that Status!

I want to be made Worthy to Obtain that World, preceded  by the Rapture-

(the resurrection)

The dead in Christ 1st then We…

Blessings and Curses

Joshua 23:15

15 Therefore it shall come to pass, that as all good things are come upon you, which the LORD your God promised you; so shall the LORD bring upon you all evil things, until he have destroyed you from off this good land which the LORD your God hath given you.

With God there is No Middle ground…

With God-

There is no Third option…

Only Good and Evil-

NOTHING ELSE…

He’s the God of the

“Two Only” with no other Option-

⁃ Good or Evil

⁃ Heaven or Hell

⁃ Right or Wrong

⁃ Holy or Unholy

⁃ Clean or Unclean

⁃ Hot or Cold

⁃ Saved or Lost

⁃ Spotless or Blemished

Life is About Choices…

You may not be able to choose “What Happens”

But- you can Choose “How” you deal with it…

So You Choose the Outcome that You Want-

Antidote of Prevention

(Jos 23:11)

11 (Take good heed) therefore unto yourselves, that ye love the LORD your God.

This passage is in the middle of Moses’s command by God…

Before-this passage:

Power and Assurance of Victory

After-this passage:

Curses from serving their gods…

It Appears to be all Hinged on this one Passage-

*(Love the Lord your God)

More…than just mere obedience, He (God) knew that Love for Him goes deeper and further…

When the Command and Desire to Obey wears off, *Love takes you further!

⁃ When you Love, it will carry you beyond your limits-

⁃ When you Love, you don’t think of consequences-

⁃ When you Love, you don’t need to be told-

⁃ When you Love, there’s no expiration date-

⁃ When you Love, there’s no fear-

All of Israel’s failings were always because of failure to Love Him more than the letter…

When Jesus came their biggest obstacle was they valued the letter more than the Message-

They didn’t Love God, they only Obeyed God…

The Antidote for Remaining right with God and Not Falling for sin is-

That ye love the LORD your God.

Missed Opportunity

(Lk 9:52-53)

52 And sent messengers before his face: and they went, and entered into a village of the Samaritans, to make ready for him.

53 And (they did not receive him,) because his face was as though he would go to Jerusalem.

Because of Pride some would cut their nose off to spite their face…

Allowing predjudice and offence to cause you to miss out on Jesus coming to your place...

Is a Tragedy of Unprecedented Proportions!

⁃ The need to be the only one…

⁃ The need to be the first in line…

⁃ The need to be first thought not the second…

⁃ The need to be Before and not After…

This Kind of Pride Will Cost You Dearly!

The day that Noah entered the Ark was the 1st onboard more important than the 8th?

When the Rapture Finally Arrives- being the 11th hour hired worker is just as important as the 1st.

Champion or Straggler

Just as long as I make it to Heaven!

Do not let Pride and Prejudice-

Prevent You from Jesus Coming to Your City!

Whether He’s Set His Face Towards Another, as Long as He at Leasts Stops by My House-

Whether First Intended or Not?
