Fear God Alone

Thou, even thou, art to be feared: and who may stand
in thy sight when once thou art angry?

Ps 76:7

VERSE 7: Thou, even thou, art to be feared.

Not Sennacherib, nor Nisroch his god,

but Jehovah alone, who with a silent rebuke had withered all the monarch's host.

Fear Him, Ye Saints-

And Then Ye Shall

Have Nothing Else to Fear…

WHEN YOU HAVE NOTHING ELSE TO FEAR…

YOU WILL TRULY BE FREE!

Fearing God Brings Strength Against All Other Things…

Fearing Anything Else Brings Weakness and Timidity!

BE FREE FROM DESTRUCTIVE FEAR…

Those That Fear the Lord Need Not Fear Anything…

Emmanuel, “God With Us”

A SCRIPTURAL MEDLEY…

Will God in very deed dwell with men on the earth?

behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain thee.

The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.—

Great is the mystery of godliness:

God was manifest in the flesh.

God hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds.

The first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled…came Jesus and stood in the midst.…

Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord. . . .

After eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them:

then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.

Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.

And Thomas…said unto him, My Lord and my God.—

Unto us a son is given:

The mighty God.

One Mad Momma

Pr 17:12

12 Let a bear robbed of her whelps meet a man, rather than a fool in his folly.

The analogy God uses is very Extreme-

A mother bear has her cubs (not just threatened) but robbed (taken away)…

She is now in hot pursuit to rescue those babies she had mothered!

God is saying- that the alternative here for you is,

Better that you meet this very angry Bear in her current state of Rage-

**Than**

To Come in Contact or Fellowship with a Fool (in his folly), or his ridiculous world of Godless activity…

WOW….

Stop Trying to Help a Fool- It Could Become Very Dangerous and Ferocious.

Stop trying to blend in with this Foolish world,

It’s Life Threatening!

Run from an Angry Bear but Run Faster from a Fool…

The Need for Instant Gratification

John 13:7

[7] Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter.

You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand (Jn 13:7)

Between AI, Google and Siri we have become a generation that expects “instant” answers and understanding!

We have come to expect immediately, what use to take a trip to the library and much research and education to obtain (the knowledge) to now have instantly at our fingertips.

Faith is slowly (or quickly) Being Eliminated from mankind and the Church!

Faith is Trusting-

Trusting what we don’t know right now, is in the hands of someone who has it all under control!

You as Peter May Not Understand What the Father is Doing…

But Faith and Trust Allows Him to Proceed and Continue in Your Life Without Question.

Because =

Later… you will understand all things!

The Great Accepted Conundrum

1 Jn 5:14-15

[14] And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

[15] And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

The Power of Prayer is Without Precedence…

And Yet We Often Find Ourselves in the Pit of Despair…

Because What We Needed Was Not Prayed for but Rather Was Expected…

Conundrum-

a confusing and difficult problem or question.

"Why should we expect God to do without prayer what he has promised to do if we pray?"

Rather than complain, why not try committing to it True Prayer?

Rather than accepting and coming to the conclusion that God doesn’t care…

AGAIN-

"Why should we expect God to do without prayer what he has promised to do if we pray?"

Dumb-Blind-Deaf are Contagious

Ps 135:15-18

15The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.

*16They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not;

17They have ears, but they hear not; neither is there any breath in their mouths.

18*They that make them (are like unto them):

so is every one that trusteth in them.

If Idols Cannot speak-(Dumb) and Cannot See-(Blind) and Cannot Hear-(Deaf)

When We Create These Idols-

And Trust in them, we become Like Them…

What are (the works of your hands)?

*What Ever You Put Before God is an Idol…

⁃ A Man

⁃ A Woman

⁃ A Job

⁃ A Car

⁃ A Hobby

⁃ A Home

⁃ A Financial Gain

Whatever Description or Desire, Living or Dead, Animate or Inanimate All are **Idols** if Their Maintenance or Obtaining Comes Before Your Service to God…

Be Careful for Idols are  Highly “Contagious”

Worse than Covid, which was Pandemic-

Whereas **Idols** are Epidemic…

Loss is Actually a Win!

Philippians 3:8 (KJV)

Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, *that I may win Christ,

The real battle for most Christians is not really that of believing in-

“Jesus Christ”

But rather-

The struggle of “Value”

To some the loss of the things of this world are too great of a price to pay for Christ!

While others have appraised the Value of Christ much greater than anything in this life…

The former is considered foolish, and yet the foolish consider themselves blessed!

And you may consider me a Loser!

But I feel like a Winner!
