⁃ Mercy to the Trusting

The One Thing These Two Have in Common

Is “Trouble”…

Many Are Misguided in Life as to Actually Believe That Will Avoid “Trouble”

Because of Being a Christian-

Good and Bad Happens to All and Cannot Be Avoided

How We Deal With (What Happens) to Us, Makes All the Difference in the World…

But at That There is Another Great Divide-

And That Being Between the (Wicked) or (Trusting in God)?

When Trouble Comes…and it will come!

The Wicked Will Receive “Sorrow”

The Trusting in God Crowd Will Receive “Mercy”

I’ll Take “Mercy” Any Day-

The Decision is Yours…

What You Promise Matters

Proverbs 20:25

25 It is a snare to the man who devoureth that which is holy, and after vows to make inquiry.

Proverbs 20:25 (Amplified)

25 It is a snare to a man to utter a vow [of consecration] rashly and [not until] afterward inquire [whether he can fulfill it].

Promises and or Vows Are Serious Business With God.

They Are “Holy”, meaning set apart from all other utterances…

Too often when in a tight or desperate situation we quickly “Vow” or “Promise” to find help and relief.

Having not counted the cost first…

This May Very Well Be the Reason You are Feeling Trapped…

It Is A “Snare”- (you promised and could not deliver) so the Snare has snapped shut…

Be Careful What You Promise God, He Takes it Seriously…

He Has No Patience For Those Who Count the Cost “Afterwards”

God Keeps His Promises and So Should We…

The Perimeter of a Relationship with God is Bound by The Law of Life and Death…

Hope is Lost After Death

Hope Is No More After Death

There is No More Hope After Death…

So a (Living) “DOG” is Better…

Than a (Dead) Lion

Whatever Relationship You Are Going to Have With God Better be Done While You Are Alive…

The Type of Relationship You Have With God is Completely Dependent Upon You…

He Is Waiting on You Today!

While You Are Still Alive There is Hope…

Communication from the Heart

Psalms 27:8

8 When thou saidst, Seek ye my face;

*my heart said unto thee,

Thy face, LORD, will I seek.

Communication is multifaceted-

⁃ Verbal

⁃ Audio

⁃ Physical

⁃ Emotional

⁃ Spiritual

We make connections through these means every day trying to express our selves…

Many Speak Great Swelling Words and Declare the Unbelievable for Whatever the Current Motivation Is-

⁃ Wars have been fought

⁃ Love has been won and lost

⁃ Countries have emerged

⁃ People have died

All Over What We’ve Communicated Through Words.

But There is a Communication That Is More Powerful Than All Others-

And That Is “The Heart” When it Communicates With the Lord!

What We Say With Our Mouths Is Far Less Impactful Than When Our Heart Speaks to The Lord…

When Your Heart Speaks Louder Than Your Words

Then There Are No More Excuses…

Because When The Heart Communicates With God

You Will Seek After Him…

No Words Are Needed…

You May Not See It

You May Be Blinded

But Right Now, Your Life is Mirroring (for all to see) Who Your Heart is Communicating With…

Psalms 27:14

14 Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

Courage is not always an offensive attack

Neither is it a formidable defense…

The hardest human feat is often to “Wait”

Todays message is simple and short…

WAIT WAIT WAIT…

On the Lord!

Being Saved is Better Than Getting Even

Proverbs 20:22

22 Say not thou, I will recompense evil; but wait on the LORD, and he shall save thee.

Getting Even Often Ends in a Catastrophic Event…

The fervor of passion when having been done wrong can blind you from a cliff’s edge…

While chasing retribution you might very well find yourself free falling from a cliff’s edge.

Better to have the Lord “Save You”  and then not worry about the one who offended you.

Because being “Saved” from Peril is better than Sweet Revenge…

Let the Lord handle the Revenge part and be Content with “Salvation”

CHAMPIONS ARE HELPLESS

Ps 34:10

10 The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.

Lions Are the King of the Jungle and Considered the Most Fierce Among Predators!

Champions of the Animal Kingdom…

And yet even among the young lions who are the most anxious in battle suffer hunger…

You May Champion One Area of Your Life and Even Be Considered by Others a Champion,

But Still End Up Hungry…

And Yet The “Needy” People you Despise as Weak and Incapable Live Better Than Any “Champion”

Because the Lord Shall Make Them

(Not Want for Any Good Thing)

The Key Here Is-

While You’re Out Proving Your Champion-ness

They Are “SEEKING THE LORD”

Because Needy People Need…

*So They Seek the Lord!
