Seek Ye First the Kingdom of God

Psalms 37:4

4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

The Title is From the New Testament But It Has an Old Testament Foundation and Origin.

When One “Delights” Themselves in the Lord, There is No End to the Blessings…

⁃ First…You can’t out give God!

⁃ Secondly…. When you encompass your world with the Lord, then you will not have to ask for most things you want!

(Just as a young newly appointed king named Solomon found out one day in prayer )

*People Who Always Have a List for the Lord Of Things They Need…

Are Usually Those Who Failed to-

(Seek 1st the Kingdom of God)

**Because People Who-

“Seek first the kingdom of God”

“Delight themselves in the Lord”

Need Not Ask- Because Their Father is Already Giving Them Their Desires…

How to Avoid Trouble

Proverbs 21:23

23 Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles.

Whosoever- Guards his (Mouth and his Tongue)

To Guard does not mean to completely permanently shut it…

But to place a Guard at the door!

A Guard is one who regulates access and exit from within…

Some people apparently have never gotten “The Memo”

And thus the mouth and tongue have no one standing guard!

These people are always in trouble…

They “Believe” that if they think it, they must by all means “Speak It”

You May Love Trouble?

But I Have Enough Without My Being Negligent in Forgetting to Place a Guard at My Mouth to Keep My Tongue in Check…

Place a Guard Today at Your Mouth’s Entrance and Exit to Control Your Tongue…

And You Will Enjoy More Peace and Less Trouble…

They Almost Sound Like Us

Judges 12:6

6 Then said they unto him, Say now Shibboleth: and he said Sibboleth: for he could not frame to pronounce it right. Then they took him, and slew him at the passages of Jordan: and there fell at that time of the Ephraimites forty and two thousand.

The true test was a simple pronunciation of one word!

Not Everyone that says they are a “Christian” is one!

You see many pronounce it differently than the Real Christians-

They Sound Similar but there is a slight difference in the sound!

A slight “Pronunciation” Difference…

Being a Christian has become a very broad label…

With Many Pronunciations-

And Yet True Christians are Identified by God Immediately!

Many Are Called but Few Are Chosen…

Many will say in that day that they were Christian but Jesus will say

“I Never Knew You”

They Were Close But Not Close Enough!

Love is The Most Powerful Weapon

Matthew 5:43-44

43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.

44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

The Power of this kind of Love is the greatest!

⁃ Love, not because they deserve it

⁃ Love, not because they want it

⁃ Love, not because ask for it

Love, Because it is the Most Powerful Weapon in Our Arsenal…

Love, Because He Loved Us This Exact Way!

Love Because He Commands It!

Because He Loved Us Before We Loved Him…

For God so loved the world that He gave…

No Love in All of History Has Had a Greater Impact Universally, Than “His Love”

If then this is true, why Love any other way?

⁃ Emotional

⁃ Physical

⁃ Spiritual

None Compare to “Loving”

Without Requirement

Without Qualifying

The “Right-Love”

Is the Most Powerful Weapon…

Pause

Psalms 22:1

1  My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?

Pause defined-a temporary stop in action or speech.

Often While Listening to Something We Often Hit the “Pause” Button, So We Can Resume it Later.

Often We Will “Pause” What We’re Doing to Return to It Later.

Pause Does Not Always Mean It Is Finished!

This context of scripture is not only applicable now but it is “Prophetic” to the same words that Jesus cried out on Calvary…

The Flesh Cries Out “Forsaken”

The Spirit Says It’s Just a “Pause” to Be Continued-

Three days Later to be Exact…

Before You Cry Out “Forsaken” The Next Time You Feel Abandoned and Lonely,

Remember, God May Have Just Hit the Pause Button-

To Be Continued…

The Common Denominator

Psalms 32:10

10 Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about.

⁃ Sorrows to the Wicked

⁃ Mercy to the Trusting

The One Thing These Two Have in Common

Is “Trouble”…

Many Are Misguided in Life as to Actually Believe That Will Avoid “Trouble”

Because of Being a Christian-

Good and Bad Happens to All and Cannot Be Avoided

How We Deal With (What Happens) to Us, Makes All the Difference in the World…

But at That There is Another Great Divide-

And That Being Between the (Wicked) or (Trusting in God)?

When Trouble Comes…and it will come!

The Wicked Will Receive “Sorrow”

The Trusting in God Crowd Will Receive “Mercy”

I’ll Take “Mercy” Any Day-

The Decision is Yours…

What You Promise Matters

Proverbs 20:25

25 It is a snare to the man who devoureth that which is holy, and after vows to make inquiry.

Proverbs 20:25 (Amplified)

25 It is a snare to a man to utter a vow [of consecration] rashly and [not until] afterward inquire [whether he can fulfill it].

Promises and or Vows Are Serious Business With God.

They Are “Holy”, meaning set apart from all other utterances…

Too often when in a tight or desperate situation we quickly “Vow” or “Promise” to find help and relief.

Having not counted the cost first…

This May Very Well Be the Reason You are Feeling Trapped…

It Is A “Snare”- (you promised and could not deliver) so the Snare has snapped shut…

Be Careful What You Promise God, He Takes it Seriously…

He Has No Patience For Those Who Count the Cost “Afterwards”

God Keeps His Promises and So Should We…
