Misinterpreting Love

Hebrews 12:6

6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

Hebrews 12:6 NLTse version

6 For the LORD disciplines those he loves,

and he punishes each one he accepts as his child."

The definition of Love has been highjacked!

Love in today’s world is-

⁃ Gifts

⁃ Permission to break the rules

⁃ Favoritism

⁃ Special Attention

⁃ Autonomy

Some of this list is true but not the “Gift of Love”

Rather some are consequences to Love..

While Others are out right wrong…

God is the Creator

The Creator of “Love”

Says, Love (disciplines) or corrects your behavior or thinking

Love also (punishes) as a tool to remind us of “Disobedience’s” consequences…

All of this is to Save us from danger… (eternal damnation)

Do Not “Misinterpret” God’s Love!

It might seem painful but The Father knows what’s best for you…

That is “If” you are one of His!

He Will Love You…

The Opportunity to Repent

Ezekiel 18:32

32 For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.

This world’s perception of God is warped, because the devil has brainwashed people…

He has people thinking that God is “All” judgement and wrathful without mercy-

And at the same time-

“Unbelievable as it Seems”

The devil has purveyed-(merchandised and sold) this opposite False Belief that there is no judgment and you can sin with impunity, without reprisal!

Neither are Correct…

He is a God of Judgement- to Unrepented continued Sin…

He takes no pleasure in the Death of a Sinner!

But would rather that they Repent (Stop Sinning)

⁃ God is Judgement to the Unrepented Sinner

⁃ God is Mercy to Those Who Stop Sinning and are Sorry…

Turn Yourselves Today (stop sinning)… and Live!

Keep Sinning and You Will Die a Sinners Death…

Proverbs 27:4

4 Wrath is cruel, and anger is outrageous; but who is able to stand before envy?

Envy is the Silent Killer…

Whereas the Others Mentioned Here Are Outrageously in the Open,

the Latter Lurks Silently in the Shadows ready to Strike…

⁃ Wrath is Cruel

⁃ Anger is Outrageous

Envy Silently Plans and Plots Her Attack

⁃ It Is The Resentment of Feeling Slighted

⁃ It Is The Hurt of Feeling Overlooked

⁃ It Is The Pain of Not Getting What Others Have

⁃ It Is The Jealousy Of Not Getting What You Deserve

All the Other Enemies We Have, We Can Avoid and or Protect Ourselves Against But… “Envy”

Is Hard to Detect-

Because she’s hiding in the shadows of darkness…

Who Can Stand Before Envy?

⁃ Do Not Harbor

⁃ Do Not Shelter

“Envy”

Get rid of of Her today…

A Hungry Soul

Proverbs 27:7

In order to maintain a balance in life and with God it will take “Great Effort” of Denying Your Flesh…

The Flesh or Our Human Bodies, When Blessed with All things becomes Less Thankful and Self Serving…

It Takes an Empty Cup to Truly Appreciate the Full…

The taste, the aroma and appreciation of food is really never truly and fully appreciated except when one is extremely “hungry”

A full person is Picky whereas a Hungry person is not at all…

If God never allowed extreme suffering then we will become a Tyrant and Selfish…

Don’t complain about the clouds, there is a silver lining  in every one them…

Weeping may endure for the night, but joy cometh in the morning…

God’s Economy

Hebrews 7:7

7 And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better.

God’s economy is Opposite of Man’s…

With man, More is Better

But in God’s World “Less” is Better…

In God’s Economy the “Less” is blessed of the better!

⁃ The Better People (Abraham’s Children)-(God’s Chosen People) Will Bless the “Less” or Lesser People (Gentiles)

⁃ The Greater (Law) was Really the Lesser (Law)-until Fulfilled by the “Lesser” the New Testament

⁃ The 1st Shall be Last

⁃ The Last Shall be 1st

⁃ Promotion comes from the Bottom not the Top

⁃ The Foolish Become the Wise

⁃ The Wise Become Foolish

⁃ Living only happens when you Die

⁃ Increase come from Decrease

⁃ Losing becomes Gain

EVERYTHING THAT YOU THOUGHT MEANT SUCCESS IS OPPOSITE WITH GOD…

You Must Rearrange Your Thinking- If You Want to Please God!

It Is No Wonder Then That We Really Need God In All Things…

Just When You Thought That You Had It All Figured Out..

One Last Example-

The old Saint you think is feeble and clueless, has really attained a higher place in God, How so?

“The Longer You Live for God the More You Become Needy… “

If We Are to Truly Grow in God, Then We-(as a man) Must Become “Less and Less”

and He (God) Becomes More and More…

Failing to Remember

Psalms 109:16

16 Because that he remembered not to shew mercy, but persecuted the poor and needy man, that he might even slay the broken in heart.

Some Things Are Hard to Remember While Some Things We Never Forget…

When Hurt or Wronged we often build Memorials to the Pain and Hurt which we view daily… And Never Forget!

Yet it Seems-

A kindness shown or mercy to us is so soon forgotten…

How We Easily go from Needy to Tyrant is Amazing!

Hero to Zero in record time…

History is rife with examples of these…

They started as oppressed victims only to forget….

And some became the most heinous dictators and persecuters.

“The Persecuted became the Persecutor”

Remember and Do Not Forget His Mercy to You…

Now go and do likewise… as you remembered!

How to Receive Honor

Hebrews 5:4

4 And no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron.

Honor to serve as a minister of God is not available for purchase…

Honor…

Which means- receiving approval and or recognition.

All Honor if it is Honor, Must Be bestowed by a Higher Authority-

You may Want Honor or Feel Cheated from It, but realize it Only Comes from God…

So if you desire Honor then you have to do the things that are Honorable and That Please God…

Don’t Expect the Prize When You Didn’t Run the Race…

We Are Called to Be Christians, so Do Not Disappoint…

That is an Honorable Calling-
