Game Changer

Psalms 118:6

6 The LORD is on my side; *I will not fear: what can man do unto me?

Life is a battle…

Every day is met with new challenges and the enemy never goes away…

Not only are we challenged by events and new horizons but the enemy is always near to disrupt and destroy.

It’s not the daily challenges that are “Feared”

But rather the insidious constant attack from the (ENEMY)

FEAR of not knowing when and where the Enemy will attack!

In this desperate struggle there is a (game changer) that does not require money, talent or skill…

The Lord!

So Today I will not “Fear” what (man)-the enemy

Can do to me, because I have The Lord and He is the “Game Changer” in this battle!

Because He is on my side…

Man’s Wisdom vs. God’s Wisdom

1 Corinthians 1:21 (KJV)

21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

Man’s Wisdom Could Never Connect Him With God…

And isn’t that what we’re all looking for, connection with God?

To somehow end this drought of feeling separated and alone or at the very least empty and free falling without a net?

You will never attain “Contentment” until you find God in more than a superficial shallow moment…

We don’t need Moments we need “Life-Change”

Eternity driven…

Your Wisdom and all that comes from the world will never “Connect” you with God!

⁃ Stop Analyzing

⁃ Stop Over Thinking

⁃ Stop Dissecting

God’s Plan for (The) “Great Connection” of all Time-(God to Man) is

“PREACHING”

In other words… It Pleased God (this is important)

To use what you or-(man’s wisdom) would think (Foolish)

and use this new tool he gave to us called “Preaching”

You May Think it’s Foolish and think that articles and books written by (men) and great speakers of Philosophy are better?

But God….said,

“by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe”

Man’s Wisdom vs. God’s Wisdom

Which will win in your life?

The Benefits Don’t Come by Accident

James 3:18

18 And *(the fruit) of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

The (Fruit) of Righteousness is

The (Benefits) of Righteousness…

Many Desire the Benefits of Righteousness but Forget that Righteousness must first be “Planted”

If you want apples then someone must first plant an apple seed and do what it takes (in care) to see it produce Apples one day…

Apples Just Don’t Happen and Neither Does Righteousness nor the Fruit!

*The Key to Righteousness and It’s Fruit?

“Only Peacemakers Make Peace”

Look at Yourself Today, are You a “Peacemaker” or an Agitator?

Do You Calm Things? Or do you

Stir Things Up (regardless of your excuses)

STIR or CALM?

If you want the Fruit of Righteousness or it’s Benefits Then You Must Become a “Peacemaker”

Who sow-(plant) “Peace”

The Benefits of Peace?

Wow… unsearchable, unbelievable, without end…

Revelation by Preaching

Titus 1:3

3 But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour;

⁃ Many seek to “Know” God

⁃ Many seek to “Understand” His word

⁃ Many seek “Truth”

The Search for Understanding is Fervently sought out by all men everywhere!

They seek Wise men to explain

They search the Internet

They ask (AI)

They Listen to endless Podcasts

And Yet They (Rarely) Seek It According to God’s Instruction…

“PREACHING”

Was and Is God’s Way…

Manifested- means to be made known or revealed-

That which is Hidden…

Logically speaking this (mode) called Preaching seems inadequate and lackluster-

You would think that God could have come up with something more Glorious?

Yet-

It Is His Way!

⁃ Finding

⁃ Knowing

⁃ Understanding

TRUTH

Only Comes God’s Way-PREACHING

Misinterpreting Love

Hebrews 12:6

6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

Hebrews 12:6 NLTse version

6 For the LORD disciplines those he loves,

and he punishes each one he accepts as his child."

The definition of Love has been highjacked!

Love in today’s world is-

⁃ Gifts

⁃ Permission to break the rules

⁃ Favoritism

⁃ Special Attention

⁃ Autonomy

Some of this list is true but not the “Gift of Love”

Rather some are consequences to Love..

While Others are out right wrong…

God is the Creator

The Creator of “Love”

Says, Love (disciplines) or corrects your behavior or thinking

Love also (punishes) as a tool to remind us of “Disobedience’s” consequences…

All of this is to Save us from danger… (eternal damnation)

Do Not “Misinterpret” God’s Love!

It might seem painful but The Father knows what’s best for you…

That is “If” you are one of His!

He Will Love You…

The Opportunity to Repent

Ezekiel 18:32

32 For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.

This world’s perception of God is warped, because the devil has brainwashed people…

He has people thinking that God is “All” judgement and wrathful without mercy-

And at the same time-

“Unbelievable as it Seems”

The devil has purveyed-(merchandised and sold) this opposite False Belief that there is no judgment and you can sin with impunity, without reprisal!

Neither are Correct…

He is a God of Judgement- to Unrepented continued Sin…

He takes no pleasure in the Death of a Sinner!

But would rather that they Repent (Stop Sinning)

⁃ God is Judgement to the Unrepented Sinner

⁃ God is Mercy to Those Who Stop Sinning and are Sorry…

Turn Yourselves Today (stop sinning)… and Live!

Keep Sinning and You Will Die a Sinners Death…

The Hidden Sin

Proverbs 27:4

4 Wrath is cruel, and anger is outrageous; but who is able to stand before envy?

Envy is the Silent Killer…

Whereas the Others Mentioned Here Are Outrageously in the Open,

the Latter Lurks Silently in the Shadows ready to Strike…

⁃ Wrath is Cruel

⁃ Anger is Outrageous

Envy Silently Plans and Plots Her Attack

⁃ It Is The Resentment of Feeling Slighted

⁃ It Is The Hurt of Feeling Overlooked

⁃ It Is The Pain of Not Getting What Others Have

⁃ It Is The Jealousy Of Not Getting What You Deserve

All the Other Enemies We Have, We Can Avoid and or Protect Ourselves Against But… “Envy”

Is Hard to Detect-

Because she’s hiding in the shadows of darkness…

Who Can Stand Before Envy?

⁃ Do Not Harbor

⁃ Do Not Shelter

“Envy”
