TEMPORARY

1 Peter 2:11

11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;

Strangers and Pilgrims are Temporarily Here,

Awaiting the Time When They Can Go Home…

Having a House in a City, without having Citizenship-

My house is here but my Home is in Heaven…

While we’re here it is important to not let the environment affect and change us!

Don’t get too comfortable

Don’t get tempted to stay

Don’t join the citizens

Your earthly house is also (Temporary)

And is meant to house your (Soul)

Protecting it from (It’s Enemy)

The Evil Opposing Environment of this World That Wars Against it to Destroy Our Hope…

I Beg You-

Never Change Temporary to Permanent…

When Remembrance Ceases

Jeremiah 31:34

(34) from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

To (Remember) is when a (Memory) is brought to present consciousness…

The need for this ability to (Remember)

Is to remind us of Good and Bad.

*It is no longer needed once there is no longer-

Danger

Need of Comfort

Judgment

There will come a Day

When all (Remembrance) will Vanish…

In Heaven, There is:

No more Male and Female

No more Tears

No more Sorrow

No more Sin

Where the Lamb is the Light!

Because all (Remembrance) is Erased because “Remembrance” is no longer needed as a

Protector

Guard

Comforter

Consequence

Judgment

Identification is all that will be needed…

there is a difference between (identification) and the need to Remember (actions and decisions)…

What a Blessed Day of Relief

When (Remembrance) Ceases the need to Exist…

When that Day arrives, when there is no more need to build Memorials to Past (Pain and Victory), What a Blessed Day That Will Be!

Does Anyone Still Want to Go to Heaven?

Led Out Not Upgraded

Exodus 13:18

But God led the people about, through the way of the wilderness of the Red sea: and the children of Israel went up harnessed out of the land of Egypt.

Deliverance doesn’t mean making your present situation better…

The New Testament cry was:

Come out from among them and be ye separate

Old things are passed away and all things have become new

Many today seem to be content with an (Upgrade)…

Moving and leaving all the past life behind is too inconvenient!

Upgrading your room in a prison is still Prison…

Jesus is not offering an Upgrade

He is offering Deliverance!

Yes, you will have to leave behind all that has become familiar-

But the Reward of the Promise Land

Will give you amnesia!

Does the Spirit of God Dwell in You?

Romans 8:9

But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit,

*(if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you).

Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

If the Spirit of God Does Not Dwell in You-

Then you are (None of His)…

Too many today are (Claiming) to have received the Holy Ghost having never really received it…

Not Only Then Does He Not Dwell in You-

But You Have No Power

No Power to Overcome and Live Victorious…

Its a damming situation of epic proportions…

You then (Gauge) everything by a False measurement…

Eventually not only will you fail and fall, but later you claim that either the Holy Ghost wasn’t real or it is not as great as the church claims…

All based on a false measurement!

Instead of experiencing the

“Real Holy Ghost”

Making sure that the Spirit of God is Paramount…

Dwelling in You!

Cart Before the Horse

Mark 2:27 (KJV)

And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:

Like a cart in front of a horse

So False Doctrine is Birthed

“God is a God of Order”

And when we get things out of Order we end making a mess…

The Doctrine of the pharisee’s here was (stringent and unforgiving) because they got the Cart in Front of the Horse!

The Reason for the Sabbath was created for the Man, to be Able to rest and concentrate on God for a Day!

But Distress and Crisis Allowed for temporary Mercy…

Once again man got it wrong by placing the cart in front of the horse

The words of another passage happens once again,

As in the books of Matthew and Luke the (pharisees) forgot that the weightier things of the Law included Mercy…

If you will get your Cart behind your horse, you’ll not only go farther but have a whole lot less stress…

The Place of the Altar

Genesis 13:18

[18] Then Abram removed his tent, and came and dwelt in the plain of Mamre, which is in Hebron,

(and built there) an altar unto the LORD.

Altars are places to Commemorate and Remember, and they are also places that mark a (Significant Milestone) to always remind you of “What Happened” to initiate this Memorial!

There are two kinds of Altars:

⁃ One is Displaying Your Achievements

⁃ One is Announcing a Life Change

Many have their Trophies of Accomplishments and Achievements

And They Line the Walls and Shelves of Offices and Living Rooms…

Not Only Announcing to Others but Reminding Us of Our Success!

The (Other Altar) is Not an Announcement of Success as Much as it is a “Reminder” or (Altar) of What GOD Did and How He Changed Our Lives….

And These (Altars) Are Usually in Closets not lining the Walls…

The Place of Your Altar Matters, Because it Distinctly Speaks Volumes…

SETTING LIMITS

Matthew 18:21

[21]  Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?

⁃ WHEN IT COMES TO OUR BLESSINGS

⁃ WHEN IT COMES TO OUR FAILURES

⁃ WHEN IT COMES TO FORGIVING US

We Want and Greatly Desire (Unlimited Amounts)

But When it Comes to Others We Seek (Limits)

The Conundrum is-

How Can We Expect (yea, demand) “Unlimited” for Ourselves?

When We Are Demanding an Answer that Satiates

Our Anxiety of What is Expected from Us?

*We Want (Limits) to What is Expected (from Us)

YET…

*We Want (Un-Limited) on What We Expect to Receive…

The Very Question Caused Jesus to Respond in Kind-

70 x 7  = 490

An Untenable Feat to be Accountable for…

Be Careful Setting Limits-

God May End Up Requiring from You What You Cannot Deliver…
