The Power of a Promise

Luke 24:8 (KJV)

[8] And they remembered his words,

The Situation was Dire and could not be darker.

The enemy seemed triumphant!

Jesus had died, with seemingly all their hopes and dreams.

Then intending to memorialize the final remains in a cave they find no body... assuming it was stolen!

Then... They Remembered His Words!

Then Sorrow turned  to Joy and Triumph.

Then the  Son Broke Through the Clouds and The Promise of a Better Day was at hand!

Mumbled words of defeat turned into shouts of Triumph!
