Deception Can Be Fatal

Matthew 7:15 (KJV)

[15] ¶ Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

At a casual glance, it looks like a sheep, but upon closer inspection it is actually a wolf with the covering of a sheep.

Two things will happen at this point: 

1. The closer inspection makes you vulnerable for the Wolf, and it might be too late to escape.

2. His covering came at a cost of the life of another sheep.

The moral of the story:  Sheep who stay close to their  shepherd are never easy targets as those who stray out to the edges.

Wolves do not like shepherds!
