To Be Like Jesus?

Luke 19:41 (KJV)

41 And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it,

The very word “Christian”

Means (Christ Like or Like Christ).

And yet we pick and choose- What there is of Christ we want…

⁃ Power

⁃ Glory

⁃ Healing

⁃ Judgement

And We Omit or Ignore the others-

⁃ Humility

⁃ Compassion

⁃ Long suffering

⁃ Burden

While we glory in His triumphs, forget not the path that led Him there….

*False Accused-He answered them not a word.

*The burden was so great that He wept as it were great drops of blood.

*The Disappointment in Jerusalem’s spiritual condition-

He Wept…
