Complaining

Psalms 142:2 (KJV)

I poured out my complaint before him; I shewed before him my trouble.

*We may Complain to God

But not of God…

When we complain, it should not be before men, but before God alone.

*Once Complaining to my wife, fellow passengers and crew on a cruise one time,  of problems with my room,

brought me sympathies and words of condolences…

But-

When I Complained to “Customer Service”

at (HEADQUARTERS) I received a substantial compensation!

If You Just Want Sympathy

Tell Everyone You Know…

If You Want Action-

Complain to Someone Who Can Actually Change Something…

Are Like a Dog Chasing His Own Tail…

Being Born Again Never Eliminates

“Self-Control”

If We Became a Creature With No Choices

and or Without Control-

Then We Are No Longer (human)

When God Saves You He Never Removes the Ability to Change Your Own Destiny!

Good or Bad…

If You Master Many Things and Cannot Master “Yourself” in Self-Control

Then it’s all a waste of time…

⁃ A City Without Protection

⁃ A City Without Walls

⁃ A City Without Defense

You May Be a “New Creature”

Even a “City of God”

But You are vulnerable to attack if you cannot control and protect it’s citizens from (Outside Enemies)

-You May Be New

-Your City May Be New

*But the Enemy of Souls is an Old Dragon

With an Intent to Destroy since the Garden of Eden…

Self-Control is Self Preservation

Against an “Old Enemy”

The Deception of the Heart

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

Today’s-

(Get out of jail free card)

Is- “It’s from my heart”

Cart blanch…

We believe that Heart

Thoughts and Actions

Validates!

Because it’s from your Heart does not make it Right!

Re read the scripture…

Your heart and or mind (Center of emotion)

Does not make anything Godly or Right…

It Only ID’s your passions and thoughts when you reveal your Heart…

Good or Bad!

Because it comes from your Heart does not mean we have to agree or that it is good!

Unless your Heart is-

(God Touched)

Then “Beware”!!!

What We Need is a

“New Heart”

That will include mind thoughts and emotions!

“New”…

The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?

What the People Do

vs.

What will You Do?

When the Demands from the People Determine the Preaching from the Pulpit

Then Both are Doomed…

We Are Living in a Mirrored Generation of that in Jeremiah 5…

When Truth Means Change and Rebuke

We Cringe and Look for Another!

The Masses or the (Many)

Love “Alternative Good”

Preaching…

While the few want and desire “Truth” at any Cost…

What will you do in the End?

Keep Me

Psalms 140:4 (KJV)

Keep me, O LORD, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from the violent man; who have purposed to overthrow my goings.

More fearful than any beast of the wild or force of nature…

Are the hands of the Wicked and Violent Man…

Man is more capable of destruction to us than all else..

Thus David prayed-

“Keep Me”

He even once declared that he’d rather fall into the hands of God than man…

Our Prayer ought to be “Keep Me”

Not-

Give Me…

If He Keeps Me then He Will Provide for Me!

Covenant/Contract or Divine?

Romans 5:8 (KJV)

But God (commendeth his love toward us), in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

A covenant or contract?

Both are agreed binding relationships…

If God’s Relationship is such-

Either in Entirety or Part Then Long ago we have Jeopardized and Nullified by Breaking Our Part of the Agreement (Covenant or Contract)…

If There is No “Divine”…

And Thus if (Our Marriages) are in fact a Type of-

“Christ and the Church”

Then Divorce is Acceptable!

But the Scripture clearly states-

*(what God hath joined together let no man put asunder)!  *Divine…

There Is a “DIVINE” plan that supersedes all other Contracts and or Covenants…

Beware- It Cannot Be “Divine” when entering in the Relationship

Then later a (tool) for or by man when things don’t work out!

Whether my Love for my Wife or my God-

Both are Divine…

God Given…

Feeling Abandoned

Job 23:3 (KJV)

Oh that I knew where I might find him! that I might come even to his seat!

The Greatest Test May not be Temptation…

The Greatest Test-

Is Feeling all Alone!

Abandoned…

⁃ When you cannot Feel God

⁃ When you cannot Touch God

⁃ When you cannot See God In anything

Feeling Alone is Overwhelming…

The Greatest of all our Tests-

Is walking through this Darkest of Dark Valleys and not-

(Giving Up Hope)

Asking- Where are you God!

Is totally different than saying-

There is no God…

Asking is Faith!

Because it says or means you know He’s there somewhere…

Everyone Will Go Through a “Job-Test”

Abandonment and Question?

Even Jesus cried out-

“Why hast thou forsaken me”

Do Not Fail This Test!

Hang Tight… the Morning will come…

As the clouds hide the Sun, Your Test Hides your ability to see Christ-

But He is there…
