Who Is One Another?

1 John 4:11

11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

⁃ Love should not be defined by Who Loves Us…

⁃ Love should not be defined by who you are related to

⁃ Love should not be defined by affections

⁃ Love should not be defined by what you can do for me

⁃ Love should not be defined by not having perimeters either

God Loved All Enough to Give His Life

For All!

But God Does Not Love Sin Nor Those Who Reject Him and Despise Truth…

The (One Another) statement was written to “Believers”

Remember, that though the statement was not intended for (Unbelievers) It does not approve the mistreatment of (Unbelievers)…

Thanksgiving

Ephesians 5:19 (KJV)

Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

Giving thanks always for all things…

Today is the day where we celebrate Thanksgiving….

A day of thankfulness!

Originally instituted by a nation to symbolize their thankfulness for what God had provided in a New World!

And it was made a national holiday!

This morning, while in prayer, I decided to change my daily routine, which includes requests, desires, and needs of the church and myself.

And dedicated today to *not asking God for one thing!

I would like you to join me today as all we do, in our prayer and throughout the day, is to (Thank God) for all that he has given!

Truly, this would be a Pure Thanksgiving!

Begin by thanking God for all that he’s given and then by thanking those around you for what they have given, and added to your life!

A Mark of Honor

Proverbs 20:3

3 It is an honour for a man to cease from strife: but every fool will be meddling.

Proverbs 20:3 AMP

3 Avoiding a fight is a mark of honor;

only fools insist on quarreling.

(Arguing) usually exists-

Because someone Does Not Agree with you and/or (your decisions)...

Some people cannot leave well enough alone!

They meddle in all things that agitate or peak their interests...

Rather Standing for Truth...

Some it seems go looking for a fight!

Be Honorable-

And stop this ceasless search for wrong and being wronged...

Stand for Truth, and walk away from disagreements.

*Ahh Blesssed are the Peacemakers...

Stowaways Taken Off the Ship

1 John 2: 8-9

Whereby we know that it is (the last time).

They went out from us, but they were not of us;

for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us:

but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

Stowaway; to secrete oneself aboard a vehicle as a means of obtaining transportation without paying the required price.

God Has His Own Litmus Test and Sifting Process to Separate the Wheat from the Chaff…

When this Ship called The Church arrives to Heaven Only the Righteous Will Be Onboard!

*We Know That it is (The Last Days)-

Because Many Will Be Leaving This Ship Just Before Her Arrival…

Have you paid the necessary fare?

Time will soon tell!

Because We Are Nearing the Shore…

“Pros and Cons”

Proverbs 28:13

13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

"Pros and Cons" means advantages and disadvantages.

Since we agree with scripture that “All” have sinned and no one is exempt, then the general consensus is with the-

*Dealing with “Sin”

⁃ The (Cons) are addressed first in this scripture-

       If you (cover) your sins then you will not Prosper…

⁃ The (Pros) are addressed secondly-

       If you (Confess) and (Forsake) them

       *Then You Shall Have Mercy!

The Choices are Quite Simple,

There are Only 2-

1. Cover Them

2. Confess and Forsake Them

Before we have a truly harmonious relationship with God-

You must 1st take care of the Sin problem…

Illegal Alien- means that you have no (legal) rights in the Country you live or are Traveling through…

Christians no longer belong to this world-(country)

Peter was pleading with us we (stay away from)

What is native or Common to the Country we are Passing Through-

On Our Journey to Our New Home…

Fleshly Lusts War Against Your Soul…

Giving In To What Your Flesh Desires Will Battle against Your Soul.

Causing Anguish and Trauma-

Fighting Against Soul’s Attempt  of Making Heaven…

Don’t Let This World War Against Your Soul on Your Way to Heaven…

We’re Just Passing Through!

Ephesians 4:24

24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Another Translation-

24 Put on your new nature, created to be like God–truly righteous and holy.

God Provides and Expects Us To Do…

He Does What We Can’t

So We Will Do What We Can…

God Gives You the “New Nature”

But Expects You to Put It On!

Unadorned Christians Will Lose Their “New Nature”

Use It or Lose It…
